HOW DOES IT WORK? - Subscribe for a plan.
- There are three file upload options
(i) Use our simple VSU_Genie at the author/doctors office to silently and efficiently pick up all dictated files, without any user interaction. (ii) Use our website upload option to manually upload files. (iii) Subscribe for the V-800 toll free (at a special discounted price) and then receive the dictations directly in your V-Safe - Once uploaded, the file is available for download or distribution, for a certain amount of days, (depending on your plan).
- The owner has to log on to our secure website to access the files.
- The authors can be sent emails with the files as attachments or can be given private 'client' access to retrieve their files securely from our website.
Sample of how a typical small Medical Transcription Company would use V-Safes to go digital. We assume that the company has 2 Doctors as clients generating about 80 MB of file transfer requirement per month. We also assume that the doctors are using digital handheld recorders like the Olympus DS-330.
- Subscribe for the V-Safes 'BASIC' plan @ $19.99 per month.
- Download the VSU_Genie from the Vareque website and burn onto a CD. (optional, as the VSU_Genie can be downloaded from the Doctor's office too)
- Log on to our member site and create client/doctor IDs for the two doctors.
- Visit the Doctors office (with the CD burnt in step 2)
- Install the VSU_Genie onto the computer that has the Olympus Recorder interface.
- Explain the simple steps of uploading to the Doctor/Staff.
- Do a few test recordings on the recorder and connect it to the computer
- Watch the files upload to the V-Safes server automatically.
- Now go back to the home/office and wait for uploads.
- With our simple 'Auto-Notify' system, you will be notified by email as soon as we receive a file.
- Log on to our secure website to download the audio file.
- Play the audio file on your favorite player, like the Olympus DSS Player or Express Scribe and transcribe the document.
- Once you have completed transcribing, log back to our website and go to the File upload page and upload the files.
- Now, you can either click and email the jobs using our Address Book or provide the doctor with a login to the files.
** If you were using the toll free V-800 system, the doctor would be calling in and you would receive the files in your V-Safe.
